Default Tires

I was hoping to get a lift, but with a lift I would want bigger tires. I tried to get bigger tires but the tire salesman told me that he couldn't sell me bigger tires due to the risk of rollover. So how high is the risk of rolling over if I got bigger tires?

yah if you lift it and put bigger tires on your explorer it does increase the risk of rolling over due to the center of gravity being raised. the sales man is full of ****. just go to another store and get them there. otherwise go to www.tirerack.com or www.discountires.com and they will ship them to you. what kind of tire are you going with when you put your big tires on? let us know and take pictures when you lift it and put the tires on.

I was thinking about Pro Comp All-terrains, or BF Goodwrench All-terrains (hopefully 30 or 31's), but I don't know if it's worth the money. I really want a 2004 Ford F-150 FX4 5.4L Lariat Crew Cab.
