From the little bit That I think I know,,,you will be opening a can of worms.
It just might be easier to put the 95 cab on the 77 chassis.
95 has ABS
ECA
Stricter Emission controls
Different suspension
Different weight certification I imagine if you had plenty of cash at your disposal something could be done. You might want to rethink this project.

Why not wait until you get some more replies ?
Just maybe someone has done what you are considering and they may be able to offer some ideas .

HI I think you might be better off with trying to finding a doner truck from 92 to 96 you might find less problems with year model changes that way

You might try this; get a trannie w/ transfer case a front gearbox with same gear ratio and whole front endwhile your at it get the computer so that you won't have to many codes that makes your engine fail

I think your best answer could be received by inquiring from Ford Parts & Service as to whether there is any difference between the ECA's on a 95 -2 wheel drive and 95-4WD .
There may be no difference, I don't know for sure.
It seemed every time I needed an ECA the weight class and engine calibration came into the picture.
I always purchased my ECA's from Ford and never had any problems with them.
