Default 1998 Ford 150 4x4 lower ball Joint

Just like the title but I need to replace my front lower ball joint on the driver's side ,Can anyone tell me if it is pressed in or can I just hit it out with a fork LOL .. PLZ help

I don't know for sure, but most likely pressed.

Here is what the Ford manual says. I would guess from their manual that it is pressed in.

Ball Joint
Removal and Installation


NOTE: The ball joint is not serviced separately. If the ball joint requires service, the front suspension lower arm or the front suspension upper arm will have to be installed new.

For additional information, refer to Arm—Lower in this section.

I have changed them several times on my 98 i had and my 2000, You can beat them out but you need a press to put them back in. Thats the easiest way I found to do it.
