I have an issue an employee here at work was told that to check the alternator that he had to disconect the battery well that triggered a bunch of issues blew 6 fuses and now it wont start even after replacing the fuses it does turn over but iam guessing it might be a relay any insight other than ur out of luck jason would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance Jason

Taking off the battery cable never blows fuses unless there's major trouble (or you dropped it and it bounced around on the battery terminal). What theyalso might have done(if not what I just said) was to check the alternator first. It likely shorted and fried a bunchof fuses and some fusible links. Then they pulled the cable off. I'd look for a bad fuse link in the ignition circuit. The starter itself and it's major circuit seems unaffected so you can rule out some of that stuff. Look for a bad wire or burnt casing.

First I'd look for the bad link or relay then I'd take a look at all the fuses just to be safe and make sure someone hasn't tried plugging a low amp fuse into a higher amp slot.
