2007 f150 Exhaust Question?
Hey guys / gals! New to the site but have a few questions regarding my new 2007 f150 xlt, w/ 5.4
Id like to install a new exhaust to add a little tone. Nothing crazy with 30 HP of power or loud enough for neighbors two miles down the road to hear.
I have heard some pros / cons and was curious what others have seen / experienced.
Performance?
Loss in MPG?
Warranty Issues with Ford?
Any info or pointers to what system would be best for my new toy would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are only looking to replace the exhaust for a better sound, you are probably only going to be dealing with the exhaust from after the catalytic convertor back to the tail pipe.
You may see a mild performance increase with this, but notthing too noticable. Maybe 5hp or so.
Th MPG shouldn't change too much either, that is unless you are constantly getting on the gas to hear the pipes rumble.
I don't think there are any warranty issues with a cat back replacement.
A nice exhasut to look into would be Flowmaster. They are good sounding and fairly priced. On the cheap, you could replace the current muffler with a glass pack. That would have a nice rumble and wouldn't be too loud with the OEM cats, and you can do it for $30ish.
