Having a problem starting my 2011 f150 5.0 FX2
engine spins from the starter, the check engine indicator stays on for a couple seconds and goes out, the security light is not on, the tach pulses up during the engine spin, all normal, but never tries to run. the fuel tank is full.

this is my daughters truck, started failing a couple weeks ago, very intermittent, and when I would go and try, it would start, the problem starting getting more regular, like every other day, then it finally failed and I caught it.

the fuel pump is not running, fuse 27, the chicken poop 20amp fuse is burned up in the socket, not blown just cooked, the terminal connection is too mickey mouse for this circuit. the wire from the fuse, goes thru the fuel pump relay, it is a 10ga or 12ga wire. should be in the larger quad base.

I am having the same problem. Fuse 27 on my truck does not look to be burnt on my truck. What was the fix.
