'76 F 150 Anyone know the size of speaker in the Dash?
I have a '76 F 150 Custom 5.9L, full-time 4x4, near flawless interior, 63,000 original miles. I am going to replace the AM radio with a Factory looking FM head unit. Looks the same but has some new technology. My '76 has 1 dash speaker and I was wondering if anyone knew what size that speaker is, so I can buy one before tearing into it. Normally I would just check... However it is -12 today and even in an Morton building, it is too cold to be outside or take the chance if scratching/breaking anything. Hoping someone has done this or knows my answer off the top of their head. Thank your for your help. James.

Thank you for your response. I was hoping it would be around those sizes. I have a pair of NIB 5x7 Infinity speakers leftover from a previous project. If the hole is 4x6, then 5x7 should work too. I hope your right. Thanks again!
