Default 86 F series tilt wheel actuator

Hi, new user here. I am replacing the turn signal switch and upon reassembly, have found the tilt function is not being actuated by the T/S arm.

What appears to be the problem is the t/s arm does contact the curved bar which depresses the aluminum notched tilt arm, however the action is not great enough to release tension on the tilt arm.

Does anyone have an exploded view of the tilt mechanism for an 86 F series?. I would venture a guess there is a "bushing" or something that provides some addtional "throw" at the end of the curved arm where it contacts the notched aluminum tilt arm.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

Well,

I got 'er fixed. Must be some sort of bushing on the end of that bar. I fabricated a brass bushing and put everything back together.

Good as new!
