Lets start off by saying, I dont buy fords, No offense to yall i just got tired of working on vehicles that we had for the short time while My dealership owned them so i just buy Chevy and Dodge, and a few 7.3 Super duty, and then ofcoarse medium duty trucks, i have contracts with 3 dealerships in my shop but i told them i wont work on fords so they stopped buying them, so ANyways


A lady that goes to my church, her husband died from cancer last year so we got her a very very clean 92 f150 as she did not want a chevy, truck had 120k original miles and was in perfect shape, well she just brought it too my shop today AS the transmission all of a sudden, would not go forward when gear selector is in Overdrive- move it down to 2nd transmission drives forward accelerating slower then normal does just fine, fluid is clear and red, Checked codes and came up with Converter Clutch error, can someone explain to me what is exactly wrong,and how i would go about fixing it
i would say it is in limp mode and just needs a shift seloniod , but this isnt a chevy lol

also truck has a 5.0 if it matters
