94 F150XLT 5.0 Cruise Control Issue
It worked perfect, and then it stopped working suddenly. Does anyone have a hint as to the best place to start? Fuse is OK. Is there a relay? Speedo works fine. OD switch on shifter flashes on and off once in a blue moon.

Problem solved and fixed!
Turns out that this year Ford and model had a flaw in the ABS Sensor on the master cylinder that could cause a catastrophic fire; even with the key off. Went to Ford Dealer in Walnut Creek, CA to price parts. Started talking with the parts guy and he immeaditaly told me of a recall on this truck, and that one he owned burned his house to the ground from the same issue.
They moved me to the front of the line, and in less then an hour they had it all fixed. They even ran diagnostics on all the electricals to make sure there was no more fault. Cruise Control works better then before and no more leaky sensor. Thanks to everyone for the input here.
More-over - THANKS to the folks at Walnut Creek Ford
Outstanding work!
Might want to pass this one around, about this problem.

Cruise Control Deactivation
Thanks for the update..
The Cruise Control Deactivation Switch recall has been open and running for quite some time now.. It's been covered here in alot of threads and help requests.. If you type in 'cruise control doesnt work' or 'cruise problems' ect. in the search box it comes up in some of the help topics.. Glad they gave you good customer service and a timely repair!

Same thing
My cruise/horn is doing the same thing as this and had been but I can't find it being recalled anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions of why it wouldn't be a recall? It's a 94 F150 Lightning...
Thanks...

Have this checked out
There is a sensor switch on the master cylinder of your brakes under the hood. It ties into the wiring harness. There is a flaw in this switch that can set your vehicle on fire. Even with the key off. This will effect cruise control as well as other systems.
Take your Lightning to any Ford Dealer and they will repair free of charge.
