Question Bouncing oil gauge

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 and love it but am a total fool when it comes to vehicles. But I have noticed a recent problem. Last time I visited home (which is about two hours from where I now am), I had an oil change done on my truck. A couple days later (about 5-7 days) I went to pick up one of my friends (about an hour away) and noticed that when I put on the break, the oil gauge was bouncing. Once I took my foot off the break, it stopped bouncing. But now every time I drive my truck for more than just a short trip, the oil gauge starts to bounce when I have my foot on the break. It does not bounce when the truck is in park or when it's moving, only when i have my foot on the break. And I think i may have heard some ticking if I'm not mistaken. And the odd thing is, it didn't do this before I had my oil change. I am really confused and a little worried. What is going on?
