Broken Turn Signal

Broken Turn Signal
Took my truck, 1996 F-150, to get it inspected recently and the Driver's side, front turn signal is not working. The running light works but not the turn signal. Switched the bulbs from the other side and both work in the passenger side signal, neither work in the Driver's side. Is there a relay or fuse that operates the click of the turn signal? Thanks!

Trouble Shooting
With the headlights off - turn on the Emergency Flasher. If you are flashing both sides then the relay is fine. I am almost sure that the same relay operates both sides. Relays are located in a small black box under the hood on the drivers side wheel well.
If the relays are OK then you have a wiring short or other problem. Usually the turn signals are on the same circut (front and rear). If you have a short in the rear it will effect the front and visa/versa.
"IF" the rear left flashes then there is no doubt that you have a wiring short or ground fault in the front turn signal. Try giggling the wires and follow the harness to look for lose connections or chaffing.
