Default DYING OUT

HELP!!! I have a 2001 F150 Supercrew that the motor has been turning off without notice while I'm driving.
I first started having this problem when I drove thru a flooded intersection a couple of weeks ago. The water level was only about 6"-10" deep, but I was traveling about 50 MPH. Shortly after hitting the water the Service Engine light came on and the truck felt like it was runnning on 4 cylinders. The computor reading came back with a code stating there was a miss fire with cylinder 7. After the mechanic changed out the plugs, which where shot the truck run fine for about 2 days. Then came the motor dying out on me with no warning. Once I put the truck in park or nutruel it would fire right up and drive fine for another few days until it would happen again. The Ford dealer run alll their tests and told me they couldn't find nothing wrong. They finally installed a simulator after having it and testing it for about a week. The truck drove fine for about 5 days and then my speedometer, tachometer, digital mileage reading, oil gage, and temp gage weren't. fuctioning. The motor was still running so I drove it straight to the dealer. Once the truck was turned off and fired back up everything wnet back to normall. The dealer again ran all their test, but couldn't find anything! Now their telling me it could be th GEM MODULE but they are not sure? Any one have any similiar incidents or have any input I'm pulling my hair out with this thing!!!!
This will definetly be my first and last Ford!

Think you might have a problem with drying out.
I'd take a close look in the engine compartment, what could have gotten water in it.
Check the power distribution fuse box, and with compressed air blown engine compartment dry.
Water may have gotten into some module under that pressure of 6"-10" of water at 50mph, you may
have to unplug some connector of the wiring harness. can't hurt, give it try. good luck
