I have a 98 F150 extended cab with 90,000 mile on it. Got it from my neighbor after he hydrolocked the 4.2 last summer. Dropped another 4.2 from a 2001 and everything was fine until last week when it ate a valve. I was able to obtain a 2003 4.6 Police Interceptor engine, trans, harness and computer from a rear ended Sheriff's car. Would like your input as to what will be involved with this swap? I have the motor mounts comming with the replacement engine too. What will match up? Does any interior wiring need to be changed? How much driveshaft will have to be adjusted? Any help on this would be appreciated. We will start the process after Christmas and hope to have her back on the road after New Years !!!!
