Default F150 Alternator problem...Wiring

Ok Im not new to the fourms just this one.
I found a 85 F150 custom and when I bought the truck it had wiring problem's beecouse,They installed a carb Inline 6 into a fuel injected harness so needless to say I put it on a duraspark box and wired it up the way it should be I also installed a 2barrel carb...

The batt wouldint hold a charge so I got a alternator with a built in regulator buuut I have the three wires on the bottom wired the way they should but the white and black wire I have coming up into the top plug that alsooo has 3 wires and one was wite sooo whats going on???

The volt meter looks like my rpm gauge if i keep hitting the gas just half and dead(back and forth)..Could this be ground idk the whole harness I had no problems im just new to wiring on this ford alternator..Help me out guys I need this truck for work and id like it to not be charging 14-15 volts at the battery
