Default front leveling of a 2001 4x4 supercrew

I just bought a stock 2001 4x4 supercrew. The front end of these trucks look as if they are doing a nose dive. Is there anyway to level/lift the front end 2 inches or so without the expense of a 4-6 inch lift kit? Any ideas???

There are bolts facing downward near the end of the torsion bars. 18 millimeter. You can turn these in to raise the front end and turn out to lower it, equal turns from left side to right side. Best thing to do tho is really check specifications of what ride height is supposed to be. There are procedures for measuring it correctly. You should be able to do some searches and find it.

Any adjustment you make should be followed by an alignment and be aware that if the shop has to adjust the camber angle, you'll probably be paying more. Also, if ride height is set at anything other than original specs, other problems can occur for handling and tire wear. "Tire Scrub", "Steering Wheel Returnability after turns" and "Wandering" are a few of the characteristics that can change.

Best bet, check for correct ride height following Fords procedure before you make any adjustment. It's may be right but just doesn't seem right to you.
