Trying to get as many ponies as I canout of my 2004 F-150 4.6l, anybody had any experience with with the Hypertech max energy programmer?

Ok, I just bought a Max Energy from Hypertech for my 1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6L.

I am waiting for a email response from the MFR because while it will program my Tbird, it will not allow me to actually edit the values, once I enter the various program stages. For example it will not let me change the Max speed of the Tbird to match theSpeed Rating of my Tires. It had a Default value of S = 110 MPH and would not let me change that value.

It did however once I finished scrolling through the different program modes change my top speed from about 106 MPH to 110 MPH so it does change the programming of the Computer Chip.

I will add more once I get the problem resolved.
