Default Looking to buy but need some help...

Alright, I need someone's expert opinion. I'm in the market for a new truck and a friend of mine is selling his. I happen to know that this guy takes immaculate care of his vehicles and I trust him completely. The price he is asking seems a little high. What do you guys think?

Here's a description of the truck.
2004 f-150 FX4 ford
6.5ft flareside bed, 4 wheel dr,
5.4 L engine, auto trany, 28,000 miles
blk leather interrior(mint)
wht exterrior w/ gry rocker panel paint
Bed Rug linner in bed(very nice)
I got this truck Sept 2003(one owner)
That's only 7000 miles of use per yr.
Been stored inside all that time.
I've baby'ed this truck since i had it.
Price Tag $24,000

Thanks.

Its a super cab. It is in the best of condition, I know the seller and he takes imaculate care of his vehicles. It does seem high, but for the piece of mind that I would be buying a well treated vehicle instead of taking a risk on some other used truck. I don't put a lot of stock in kbb when it comes to the resale value of trucks. They seem to always be a little low.

I would personally like to have the $3000 extra dollars in my pocket giving me a piece of mind between what is being asked and what it is worth.

If you know that the owner is Ford’s continuing care of the vehicle there is no problem to buy it.
