Looking for exhaust pipes.

Looking for exhaust pipes.
I have 94 with a 4.9l 300 inline 6 that needs an exhaust pipe (I do not have the money to buy it new.). I prefer to deal with people that live in counties that surround Williamson County, Texas.

Try this. You might have a hard time locating since most people do not buy used exhaust pipes.

Depending on which parts you need, I can tell you the exhaust pipe from the manifold that has the converter attached is expensive to put it mildly..
As raski stated, few if any folks purchase used exhaust pipes the reason is they rust so fast and by the time you get them off they can get damaged.
There are cheap kits to repair mufflers and exhaust pipes and sometimes a soda can and hose clamps will produce a temporary fix.

If we’re talking whole exhaust pipe is badly rusted and has holes in it or muffler or catalytic converters are damaged then yes a new system is needed; and yes they will cost as much as $900-$1500.00. If you just have a few bushings/hangers that are bad you can eke by with just buying universal ones from any parts counter

We are all cost considerate these days and something I have found.
Purchasing exhaust system parts from Ford can be expensive, but here is the kicker, you can purchase some after market parts that will do the job and are sometimes cheaper and easier to install. They are usually made of a lesser thickness of material and don;t usually last as long as original parts. Your choice.

Very true I will say I’ve had my original muffler since I bought my Windstar —18 years ago. I’ve changed intermediate pipes and found the aftermarket to be restrictive. So I bought a much larger flex pipe and welded the old flange onto it to adapt the new diameter. Same tone; freer flowing and fitment is perfect. What it did was to effectively remove the bottleneck from the cat-back system. Now auto enthusiast that I am—I’ve considered splitting the two-into-one “Y-Pipe” merge and weld up a tru-dual exhaust system that exits from the stock position equipped with MagnaFlow X-Flow muffler as an X-pipe for pulse balance and better scavenging. Two Flowmasters for the two outlets.
