Default Multi Function Switch Replacement

Just got a quote of over $400.00 to replace the mulit-function (washer/wipers, turn signal/high beam) switch on my 2004 F 150!!! The part at NAPA is $91.00! Could it really take that much labor? Anyone have any experience with this job? It appear that you should be able to remove the plastic shrouds on the steering column. (I have a tilt wheel) Any help would be greatly appreciated B4 I just start pulling stuff apart.

Try the long link below. Or go to www.autozone.com and search your truck for the repair.

I think it is too expensive. Do not waste 400 bucks just for it. But it will be more risky if you will be the one to fix it. Try searching for a repair shop that offers cheaper labor. In our state (Arkansas), usually it also costs 100 bucks!
