OBD1 5.8L Performance upgrades???
I have a 1994 F-150 5.8L 351W, and i don't know what else i can do to it to pull out more performance on the street and strip. Anyone got any fairly cheap tricks, or upgrade sugestions?

ive put a K&N air filter on it, E3 performance plugs, plug wires, rotor and cap, shorty headers, high flow steel core cats, glass packs, and cut exaust to come out side just behind cab corners! Ide like to be able to put down decent times at the track, and street, and get better performance overall. is it possible to swap out the PCM with a same year lightning, and if not can the PCM be reflashed?

I can't give you an answer about the pcm swap, but if you have a little money a cam, intake, throttle body, heads, nitrous, etc. would certainly help at the track.
Another thing to do would be changing the gears in your rear end to a higher ratio so it takes off quicker. It doesn't give the truck any more power, but it will feel and act like it has more.
For a 1994 you can get a performance module (chip) that will give it more pep.
On the cheap end you can bump your timing a bit if you want to run 91-93 octane all the time. (Actually this is one of the things a performance module does.) Advancing your timing will give a few extra HP. Just becareful you aren't getting detonation pings, and don't do this if you are going to use nitrous.
