P2106 code 2004 F150 4.6L 2wd new body
I did replace the throttle body which comes with new sensor and motor. I did turn off both cables from the battery for a day. I did use the scanner to erase the code. I did drive afterwards for 200 miles. Still getting the same code and check engine and the wrench?
PLEASE HELP, I`M OUT OF IDEAS.

Take the cowl off the top of your engine and feel the back of the air intake manifold. There is a hard rubber elbow which is part of the PCV valve assembly. After a time it dry rots and develops a hole causing a vacuum leak. I had the same thing happen to me and it drove me crazy trying to run down the problem. I replaced O2 sensors, cleaned the air intake and throttle body. Spent $300 just to have a mechanic run a diagnostic that told me NOTHING!
If you find a hole in that elbow you should be able to cover it with your finger while the engine is running and hear a noticeable difference in the performance of your engine. The replacement part is about $38 at your local Ford Dealership. I haven't been able to find the part anywhere else. Hope this helps.
