I would like to put bigger tires on my 93 F150. i dont want to put a lift kit on it though. it currently has 235/15 tires on it and there is a lot of clearence between the tires and the fenders. what size would you recomend? the 235's just look to small.

Is there a lot of clearance at the front wheels when they're turned the whole way to one side? If so - keep in mind you also need room for suspension travel. I agree though - sometimes the tires look way too small (almost silly looking). If I were to have the problem I'd check my tires at the fender and estimate about 2" of minimum clearance and see how much difference could be added to the tires safely. The back tires usually have more clearance for wider tires too (unlike the front - which may rub the frame if too wide). I'd think 1 inch higher radius (per side is 2 inch bigger) would likely be safe. Some tire dealers keep charts of tire fitment and know offhand what will fit (if they're any good at their job.)
