Hi: I just traded in my 2014 for a 2020 XLT with the Max Trailer Tow package. Yes, it comes with crappy little power side mirrors, NOT suitable for towing. I am planning to install a set of 3rd party extendable power tow mirrors, and would like to get a set that add the orange blinking indicator lights. Can anyone confirm whether the power connector to my factory mirrors (which don't have an indicator light) will incorporate a signal indicator function in the connector, which would allow me to add this feature to my replacement mirrors? I don't need to pay for tow mirrors with signal indicator lights if the wiring harness doesn't support the signal indicator.

I just upgraded my 2016 XLT 2wd 5.0 SCREW with third party aftermarket. If your vehicle doesn't have those features already, then you would have to buy some wiring adapters and potentially a new wiring harness. My truck had the turn signal, power mirrors, and heat but did not have the puddle lights - the new mirrors came with puddle lights, but they don't power up. I'm now looking to see if I can buy and adapter and wire up the puddle lights. I had an 8 pin and the new mirrors had the 22 pin and the new mirrors came with the 8 pin to 22 pin adapter.
