Could possibly be a trans/solenoid body connector issue with corrosion and/or bad pins.. The solenoid packs do fail, but without any test equipment, or as a first check/inspection, you may want to remove the heat shield at the trans harness connector (right/passenger side rear pan area) by 'pressing' in on the release tab and pulling up, then take an inspection mirror and look at both the pins inside the connector body and the harness end as well.. Look for any signs of contamination or green corrosion ect.. If it all looks good, then it very well could be the solenoid pack.. Could be a circuit problem but most times not..The solenoid pack/body is inside the trans pan attached to the valve body.. Not a bad job at all to do, but requires the pan to be removed, and there's 10 (torx and 10mm) screws/nuts to be removed.. Then 'gently' pull the solenoid pack off of the valve body gasket.. The connector that stick up/out of the trans case is o-ringed but tends to drag a tad being removed since it can collect debris.. Here a few pics of the solenoid pack in relation to the valve body as well as the connector...
