Truck Squeaking
Hello to all! I have a '06 F-150 with over 233,000 miles on it. Recently, it is squeaking really bad. I changed the oil but that's all I've done so far. I'm trying to avoid going to a shop and saying it is a $5,000 fit. lol. Also, the engine is a 5.4 L. Anyone have any ideas I can try?

I just got my new crystal ball so I'm gonna check how good it works.
If this squeak or squeal is heard when the engine is running , there 's a good possibility the belt tensioner pulley bearing is the source. To help verify this just remove the belt and start the engine for a few seconds. If the squeal is gone , my crystal ball is OK,if not I'm gonna have to send it back , it's one of those oriental jobs, cheap ya know.
