Was jumping off my mower, which i've done 1,000 times in last 12 years(guess this will be my last) and the truck quit running. Now the truck just cranks like it would if you had the wrong key in it, or had a key that the chip was bad and wont start for nothing. My buddy said that maybe it tripped the Theft sensor. I'm in the dark here..ANY SUGGESTIONS??

 

What year 150?

its a 2006 f150 5.4L 4x4....No it was hooked up right. I had it hooked up for about 10 to 15 min trying to start my mower. at the very end when the truck shut off, the mower had almost started..i was spraying starter fluid in the air intake on the mower and my friend had the key turned over on the mower, the mower would almost start then quit; id spray, key still turned over, mower almost start then try to quit;id spray, key still turned over, mower almost start then try to quit. Did that for almost 45 sec straight, then BAM truck quit running. Now the truck will not start. Just crank like it would if you have a key with a bad chip or something

 

Shouldn't have been a problem unless it was a large draw on the system.. What size mower, farm, riding?

 

its a john deere walk behind..54inch cut...Kawasaki 17hp..12 volt battery

 

im an idiot..truck was on a slope parked down by my gagare where mower is....ummmmmm..ran out of gas..lol
