Default turbo 300 cid?

anyone out there ever think of putting a mild turbo or supercharger on a 300 CI straight 6.

before everyone replies with "just buy a v8", I understand your logic, i'm just seeing if anyone has played like this with the old 300.

I love to tinker, and just bought a 1994 EFI 300 CID van.

Cut one chamber off each 4V 351 Cleveland head and put those on it. You would have to make an intake manifold & header for it after that.

WOW. I'd think even if you got em to bolt on, the cost of having them welded together and milled would be not worth it. (Just dont sound like it's possible.) Anyhow, why mess with perfection with the 300.

Bruce Sizemore did it with a Drag car in the 70's. It was one of Gliddens old pro stock pinto's that was ran in I/Gas. He lowered the record in one day from 11.30 to 9.90. I have photos of it. It looks like it had weber carbs on it.
