White smoke

White smoke
I have a 2015 F150 with 51,000 miles on it that blows white smoke on start up, once or twice a day (no matter the time of day I start it) out of the tail pipe. I took it in and they replaced the right turbo line, but it’s still doing it. They have no idea why, all they keep telling me is that it is condensation. I have a hard time believing that as it has a smell to it. Anyone else have this problem?

Some things you might check,
Usually white smoke comes from coolant getting into the combustion chamber.
How does the engine coolant level look?
You should check this with a cool engine and actually opening the radiator cap and looking inside the radiator.
Let us know what you find, thanks.
Ca we ask , who did the past checking?

I will have them check that. I found out that in the 2015-2017 F 150 models with a 2.7L engine, they were having trouble with the left turbo feed line. The TBS says it may be due to oil entering the left hand turbocharger turbine housing. Another thing for the service guys at Fairway Ford to check out. They said the left one was fine, but now with this, I will have them look again.

Late reply on this, but finally got that smoking issue fixed. Turns out; after 8 trips to them and a call from me to the service manager, it was the turbo. Can’t believe they couldn’t figure that out sooner, but at least it’s fixed. 👍🏼
