Default 01 250 Instrument cluster dead

I didnt have any lights on the instrument panel. The fuses were good and the bulbs were good. After looking at everything over and over again. I hard wired the lights to a fuse. When I put it all back together. I get lights now but none of the gauges work?

Sure the 5amp in the CJB is good?

So,, the cluster illumination wasn't working but the gauges were, then, after power up the cluster illumination the gauges now don't work? Any of the other warning/indicator bulbs powering on?

You got it. All the warning lights worked before and after. Rather have my gauges then lights lol.

I could try swapping the fuses but they all appear to be good.

Is it's not the fuse 9/10 the cluster itself is junk. Just search the phrase "ford truck instrument cluster dead" and you'll find tons of people with the same issue.

Check with the dealer about getting a new one Genuine Ford Parts - OEM Ford Parts - BlueSpringsFordParts.com

I heard there was some weird odometer issue with buying an aftermarket one? I can't recall what it was exactly.

I found a 10 amp fuse that appeared to work but didnt. It wasnt listed as related but you know how that goes. Ill post the fuse # when I check.

I seen people getting them rebuilt so they dont lose the mileage. These need to be programmed after installation too. The dealer price is $680.
