What would be the next thing to look into?

My dad’s old truck is parked by my barn. I went out to start and drive it like I do once a week and the battery was dead. Hooked it up to charger and the parking lights were coming on although they were turned off. I ended up finding this YouTube video. I’m guessing he means parking lights and not DRLs. I haven’t tried getting this part for it yet so I’m not sure if this is a fix.

 

Put my batteries on a charger for several days, removed fuse 38 before reconnecting batteries and starting truck. Absolutely zero issues now and everything works as it should, no need to tow anything at the moment so I feel ok about it… until then!
