Default 03 F350 7.3 Engine light with no codes??

2003 F350 7.3 diesel. Service Engine Soon light came on but my code reader shows no codes and indicates the light is out. I even cleared the codes just to be sure and the light stays on from the moment I start the truck. This one has me stumped. Any suggestions as to what would cause the light to come on with no codes?

Update: Broke down and took truck to Ford dealer. Their code reader found codes P1280 and P1211 (0 pressure and 0 volts) which points to the ICP sensor. A new sensor cleared the codes and put the Service Engine Soon light out. Not sure why my generic code reader would not show the codes. A bad ICP senser will trip the SES light immediately which is why clearing the codes did not make the light go out. Ford charged me $215 for the ICP sensor which is a rip since I have seen them on ebay for a lot less. Guess I need a better code reader.

Default 1999 E350 7.3 turbo deisel

My service engine light came on about three days ago and the vehicle runs ruff. At first when I started it was fine, no light but after about a couple miles down the road the light came on and it started running bad. The next couple of days the same thing happened but yesterday the light came on when I started it and it ran bad the whole time. Any suggestions. PS: I do not know if changing the starter a couple of weeks ago could have anything to do with this, I did disconnect the battery but did the reset as shown in my book. I also put new gas in it. Additional note. I received a letter about a week ago from ford telling me that I need to bring the vehicle in because of a recall on the ICP senser, could this be the problem because I just had the motor replaced about 2 years ago and it only has about 40,000 on it. Thanks
