Default 04' f-350 6.0 oil leak

I've just found out that there is oil all over my transmmision housing. It appears to be coming from the rear of the engine somewhere. There isn't a puddle of oil on the ground under it and the oil level doesn't seem to be dropping. I'm taking it to a dealership to get repaired and I'm hoping it won't cost me an arm and a leg.

Default 6.0 oil lk

I had an 05 and 07 with 6.0. Both have oil leaks in same area. On the 05 went and had it checked out and found out it was a spaghetti seal in the engine that is causing the leak. The same problem now with my 07. Its just a flaw in the engine. I elected not to get the engine torn apart due to it having less than 25k on it, so traded it in for another truck 07 found the same problem then dealer found me another one the next day with the same problem! Its something ford really needs to look into.

Default 04 oil leak

The oil leak turned out to be the rear engine seal. Got a good mechanic and it only cost me 2600 in the end.
