Default 07 f350 6.0 jerks 45-60 mph

My 07 f350 jerks when i am in overdrive and cruising from speeds of 45-60 mph. If i give it gas it quits or if i liet off it quits. When it idles every once in awhile it will jerk and skip but not all the time. I cleaned the egr valve and that helped for about a month but then started back. I replaced it but it still does it. I know i need to change the clutch fan. Any help? Dale jarrett ford wants 90-200 plus dollars to easter egg hunt on it. If i have to pay them i will but i would like an idea of what it could be first. Any help would be great. It is a 6.0. Thanks

My 05 SuperDuty sometimes looses accelaration when starting or stopping and it's happened cruising at 70. Just looses power and then goes away. Not a good feeling living in remote place. Similar think happened at 60k and the dealer took over a week and 2,000.00 later got it back. Now have 153k and hope it's not that again. Regular oil and filter changes, fuel filter changed, air filter good. Last time I went out no problem. ???? Any ideas??

That is pretty weird how it came back. The dealer never told you what was wrong the first time around when they fixed it?

When this was happening at 60k miles and the dealer had it for week and 2000+ dollars later they told me they thought I may not be accellerating hard enough. That these trucks are work horses and need to be run hard. I have to admit I always thought slower starts would save fuel so I aired on that side. However since then I have showered down on fuel to try to burn off exhuast build up.
The other day I was going up a hill and I knew something wasn't right and then it started dying ( not wanting to take the fuel ) I was coasting to pull over so I just held down the accellerator to the floor. When it started the RPM's and accelleration started to pick black exhuast so dense I could barely see the car behind me and I shot down the road. It seems to be doing fine now. I just wonder how long it will last.
I sure would like to get another 50k miles before getting something else.
It will be great if that was the fix but nothing is ever that easy.
Thanks for reply

A buddy of mines 03 6.0 was doing that then it finally would not start, it turned out to be the fuel injector control module. But his also would get what sounded like a back fire when it was under a load with a massive amout of black smoke. It done this for 5 or 6 months before the module went out.
