1984 F250 6.9 Geared too low.
Hello.
I have a 1984 F-250 with a 6.9. Everything is stock and when I go down the highway I think I'm turning too many RPM's at 75mph. Someone told me I had to change my rear end gear because back in 1984 the highway speeds were 55mph and vehicles were geared lower.
Can I just find a rear axle out of a early 2000 F250 and swap? Or do I have to take apart my rear end and buy a new gear thing?
Thank you for reading.
