1985 F250 headlight question

Some older years had a circuit breaker inside the headlight sw. It was strictly for the front headlights.
There are a few possibilities that should be checked out before replacing anything..
Check the current drain that the headlamps are using. You will need an amp meter to accomplish this. You need to check both hi and low beam current usage. Hi beam will use more current than low beam. Current drain is in the area of 20-25 amps.
If more , need to determine where partial short is. (Original type headlamps not some others)
If current is within "normal" range , the headlamp switch may need to be replaced.
