2003 5.4 v8
Good Morning, new to this forum and had a question after not finding answer during a quick search. I was gifted a 2003 250 Super Duty with a 5.4, it has 120,000 miles on it and runs great, my father in law never had the plugs changed due to the spark plug issue. I searched online and found the TSB, and saw it stated 2007 and before manufacturing date, but I'm not sure if it was the latest TSB, but also found it only was for the 3V 5.4's, and 2003 still used the 2V. Truck runs great, and was thinking about spark plugs cause of the mileage, but didn't want to jump into it without knowing for sure

You should be OK with no plug problems. Just follow the normal good procedure and that is to make sure you blow the grit and junk out of the plug holes before removing the plugs. Also care exercised when removing and reconnecting wires is always recommended. You might consider using dielectric grease when installing the coils back onto the plugs. If you can, use a torque wrench when tightening the plugs, proper torque is important . (17-ft lbs)
Sooner or later you will need to replace some of those coils and what you do now will pay off later up the road when you need to remove them again.
