2003 f-250 battery backwards
Hi my boss owns a 03 f-250 with a 5.4 Triton he decided he's going to replace his battery he wasn't paying attention put red to red and didn't realize his battery was going in backwards he plugged it in that way realize what he did wrong when the truck alarm started blaring he put it back in the right way the power comes on to the truck but it won't crank I hooked up my scan to to it to read the codes and it came back with b1352 and p1000 I cleared them and replaced fuse 113 which was blown and tried to start it it didn't crank blew the fuse again and threw both of the codes any help would be appreciated

The 30 Amp fuse supplies power thru the starter relay (in Smart Junction Box) contacts on down thru a Yellow/Lt Blue wire to the solenoid on the starter motor.
You need to remove the yel/ltbl wire from the starter , with it not touching anything ,see if the fuse still blows.
1 if it does, the wire is grounded someplace , look for possible contact with ground.
2. if it doesn't blow the fuse, replace starter solenoid and starter motor.
