2003 F350 6.0 Battery Draw
Hello,
Thank you in advance for any help on the issues that I am dealing with.
I have a 2003 F350 6.0 and have a battery draw after doing the "draw Test" (I pulled all fuses and such with a little light connected to one battery with the other battery disconnected) I traced the draw to the instrument cluster fuse. When I remove that fuse there is a click noise, and stops drawing on the battery. and I can leave my truck for days without any issues I come back put the fuse back in and she starts right up no problems. If i leave that fuse in she is dead as a door nail within a few days no power and wont start up. been testing for about 2 months now and it is the same all the time. Until today ( got used to pulling the fuse alter parking and putting it back in before i want to leave) minor inconvenience but the truck was starting all the time. today we drove it a like 7 miles and then i got problems started sounding weird when shifting (it is automatic) sluggish and then wouldn't even shift and then engine revved put id didn't want to change gears.
when finally got home i plugged in one of those readers( no check engine like came on) i got error codes
p0707 transmission range sensor circuit low input
p0706 transmission range sensor circuit performance
p0603 ECM Keep Alive memory test error
p0528 Fan Speed sensor circuit no signal
p0480 Fan 1 control Circuit Malfunction
The all showed up at the same time today.
Just trying to get an idea of what my first steps should be I do work on electronics some and probably could reflow the cluster Board if i need to myself. ( watched couple videos and i have done circuit boards before)
Could these issues be related?
Thank you in advance to anyone that helps or talks with me about these issues.
Thanks,
Josh
