Default 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.0 lariat diesel problem. 130k miles

The past week I’ve been having a problem with my truck, on occasion when I’m stopping at a sign or red light me engine will begin to shake a little, when I press on the gas I get nothing it just stayed there until I press the gas a few more times but yesterday the whole truck died and couldn’t get it to start up for a minute or two. No check engine light but my battery light came on for a few seconds which wasn’t normal to come on but went off as soon as the truck started back up. This also happens more often when I’m low on diesel. Any thoughts?

1. Get your alternator tested, the battery light is really an alternator light.
2. Install a fuel pressure sensor and gauge
3. Install ForScan Lite to a smartphone and buy a BAFX OBDII adapter (WiFi for iOS and Bluetooth for Androids), then check for codes
4. Use ForScan to check FICM MPower, LPower, and VPower
5. Have the batteries charged and load tested individually
6. Look into having your FICM rebuilt by FICMrepair.com because low system voltage is the most common cause for failed FICMs, and odds are yours is not healthy..
