2005 f250 no start when hot
I’ve got a 05 f250 that will start up when cold but once it gets to running temp it shuts down. Doesn’t hesitate or anything just shuts off then wont start back until it cools down. I’ve replaced the stc fitting in the hpop with the updated one. I’ve changed the ficm, the ipr and icp sensor. Can someone give me some opinions on what this problem could be? Thanks

Continuing from the first thread on the topic ........ (tbh - no response is expected unfortunately)

Could be that some of the components you have changed actually needed to be changed, but I bet not ......and they get expensive.
Thing is, you can make matters worse by approaching things the way you did - IF you actually bought aftermarket sensors/actuators/electronics. If you bought OEM, then probably not an issue. Thing is - where you buy OEM parts is also VERY important! So many counterfeits being sold in packaging that looks SPOT ON!
What scan tool do you have access to? It is far easier to troubleshoot than to guess in MOST situations! I mentioned ForScan previously. Did you take that suggestion?
While there are a number of systems that can retrieve PCM data, retrieving stored codes THOROUGHLY isn't as common. The only ones I will really recommend these days (just because they are VERY cost effective) are ForScan full version, ForScan Lite, and Torque Pro.
Thoroughly retrieving codes is VERY important as Raski mentioned.
While the shutting down when warm/hot" can very much be an indicator of a high pressure oil system leak, as you are thinking. That said, it can also be related to failing electronics. This is why we need you to have a GOOD scan tool!
So - please tell us:

So - please tell us:
what scan tool do you have
will your scan tool retrieve and report the ICP sensor VOLTAGE output
where did you buy the parts you replaced (please post a COMPLETE list)
Was the STC fitting leaking or had it failed
Is your oil level good - ie not under OR over filled (also, no fuel smell to it either)
have the dummy plugs and standpipes been updated
what is your fuel tank level
have you read up on doing an air pressure (leak) test on the high pressure oil system
