2006 f250 5.4 petrol code U0300

Other than checking for a bad ground or associated connections with the PCM, there's not much you can do with it. If the PCM computer has been reflashed with the incorrect software(setting code U0300), the PCM may have an internal fault. With software compatability issues, it will be impossible for any communication between the PCM and any other connected devices thus setting the P0600 code.. This is a time where your dealer's service dept. is where I would take it for a reflash with the latest revision or possibly a new PCM computer if that fails..

Before hoping to come up with a solution/cause, it is important to know if someone contributed to the problem.
As you know not everyone will admit they played around with the system and are looking for an answer to what they might have done.
There is a difference between what normally might have happened compared to what was done accidentally.
Learned this the hard way !!
If for instance they connected/reconnected something incorrectly, just replacing a PCM without knowing why it happened, will assure the replacement PCM will suffer the same fate.
