Default 2010 F250 Climate buttons don't do anything

Hello,

I have a 2010 F250 SuperDuty 5.4l

Got this thing from auction and trying to figure some stuff out.

The buttons for AC, Defrost, recirculation on the climate control panel don't do anything. The AC is automatically engaged at all times when the fan is activated. If I press the AC button it will not disengage and the light stays lit. The window heat button won't do anything either. Basically any button on the panel does nothing.

Any ideas?

I'm having issues with the AC cycling and off gassing on the high side port, but want to get this panel fixed first so I can actually turn the AC off when I want to.

Thanks!

Until we know what is going on, you can temporarily remove the plug from the A/C compressor and the A/C will no longer work
