2015 ford f250 on the fritz
Hi,
I don't know how to explain the problem to search posts but hoot a 2015 f250 extended cab gas. I believe the 6.2l. Any who while I am driving the service advancetrac turns on and off, on and off, on and off, so on. Then as that's going off the air bag light turns on the off, then on and off and so on. About 20 seconds of that the battery light turns on. I think that means problem with the charging system. Kill the radio volume and steering wheel controls. The tachometer freezes at whatever rpm it was last reading. This goes on for a few miles then it kicks off for a short while. Kicks back on. Then just stops, then it's fun the rest of the drive. Sometimes the malfunction of tire monitoring system kicks on then off. Truck during this time seems to run fine. In park does the same thing but I can feel the rpms pulse. I have video but I gotta figure out where to post it. Doeas this sound like an issue that has been posted? Any thoughts. Just started happening a week ago. It has 167000 miles on the engine.

I have seen this a few times, and the problem was a poor ground connection. Might pay to start with removing and cleaning what ever ground connections you can see starting with the main ground from the battery to the vehicle.
Something you should expect,
when you disconnect the battery from the vehicle ,ground cable in this case, you will need to allow the idle speed to reset and shifting points adjust to your driving habits.
After you reinstall the ground cable back on the vehicle after cleaning it, you can start the engine , but do not touch the throttle pedal . Allow it to reset itself, usually takes 5 minutes, also you will need to reset all your radio stations because that memory will also be lost. As you drive your vehicle it will adapt to your driving habits regarding shift points
.Really not a big deal, but could help solve the problem.

Thanks
Well. I will give that a try. Thank you. The truck is currently dead. Everything lite up, the Guage cluster lights started flashing, the Guages started to swing back and forth three times, and odly enough it happen 3 times. Every light came on. Truck was driving fine. Just a light of warning lights and messages. Within a mile of my location everything turned off and the truck started to run smoothly again. Then I turned it off. Went to turn it back on. Said starter malfunction. Advanced track started chiming again. And the head lights kicked on. Threw some jumper cables on it and started up fine like it had no problems. Got to my house and everything started all over again. And it's doing the same thing. I will try the grounding cables. Hopefully that is all it is. If not I might have to go to a shop. I'll keep it posted.

That's why it bothers me when someone seeks help and doesn't ever respond with a follow up.We are here to help each other and not just ourselves.
