2018 f250 6.7 buyback?
Im looking to buy a used 2017-2019 Ford f250 6.7. My local ford has a 2018 f250 for sale with 26,xxx miles on it. Its a truck that has been bought back by ford. I have the oasis report on it and what's been wrong and fixed. Does anyone have experience buying a buyback vehicle? Im sketchy as to take on problems its had or may still have. The truck had a CEL coming up on the truck so the fuel pump was replaced at 25 miles. Then at 580 miles the check engine light came on and didn't have power. The turbo was then replaced. then at 19,000 miles the truck started to go into limp mode so it was returned to the dealer and they replaced the MAP sensor. 2,000 miles later it started going into limp mode again and was returned to dealer. The mechanics replaced the turbo assy and while doing so the egr valve inlet tube from the RH exhaust manifold outer bolt broke off and they replaced those. 4,000 miles later it was losing power again and went into limp mode. Has anyone seen this or know about this? Would this truck be worth looking at to buy? Thanks, Justin.

Is it a lemon law buyback?? I bought a 2016 Hyundai Tucson that was bought back by dealer with only 600 miles in 2016. I was giving all info on why it was bought back. ( transmission computer had to be re programmed) It was a new type of CVT transmission and original owner was used to typical shifting transmission). The dealer let me use it for 3 days to see if I liked it. I bought it after the 3 days and saved over 8k over the orignal msrp. I was giving the same warranty as if it was new. Not one problem in 6 years owning it. The problems the truck you are thinking of buying seems to be much more, unless they are giving you a good warranty & price run and dont look back
