2019 F250 6.7 alarm keeps going off
Hello everyone
I have a 2019 F250 6.7L diesel sometimes every couple weeks after I lock it on the door or with the push button key about 10 mins later the alarm goes off. Tonight so far in an hour it has gone off 5 times. I have a light bar installed to 1 of the upfitter switch, I also have plown wiring I connected my controller power to an up fitter switch aswell. Anyone have any ideas I would take it to my local dealer but they are useless. Tia

You need to see the pids for the last five alarms, the computer stores the reason the reason they alarm went off the last five times, if they are all the same that is where to look for a fault.
To be clear I am not talking about pulling codes, these are called pids and I don't remember what that stands for.
You can view these pids using a Ford obd2 scanner, it is possible but unknown to me if a non ford scanner will display information that specific to ford even if its a higher end scanner.
