Default 2019 f250 6.7l water leak

Hello everyone.

I have a 2019 f250 6.7l. I noticed this past Monday july 18th that my passenger floor was wet. So I’ve pulled the cabin filter no water, a/c drains outside like it should. My biggest problem is I’m out of warranty and don’t have the time or money to have my truck in the shop forever. Does anyone have any other ideas of how I can trace it or what the problem might be?

thank you in advance

Did you notice if the level in the coolant system went down any? If so, we could be looking at a heater core.
If the level has not gone dawn any, water could be getting in there from another way.
What is generally done is to pressurize the cooling system and watch if the pressure goes down. If it does , it is a cooling system problem and in this case a possible leaking heater core, (long job). If you cannot tie up the truck for this work, you could maybe depending on the connections at the heater core tubes, insert a piece of copper tubing between the heater hoses and still use the vehicle until time is more cooperative. You will not have heated defrosters if you should need them though.
Another clue is, if you turn on the defrosters and it kinda fogs the windshield , heater core ! and sometimes the sweet smell of anti freeze

You might want to check this TSB out first which is at the end of my post.. I know you have an F250 but this might help out because of the similiarities.

I would believe if it were coolant, you would have smelled an unusual sweet odor by now and steamed up windows. I doubt a heater core would also go bad on a 2019 but a loose heater hose clamp is worth looking for. . I going with the possibility of rain water leaking in provided the TSB doesn't help.. I would have a helper assist you by applying a gentle stream of water around the lower windshield, door and the cowl area while you are watching inside for a leak. Look behind the lower kick panel as well. There are rubber plugs and sealing tape used behind it during assembly.. Might even help to remove the glove box to see a leak better if it were comming from a windshield seal. . You should also peel the carpet to allow the floor board area to dry or it will rust. If it hasn't rained in a long time, I would still make sure there isn't a cracked or poor sealing evaporator box which is a possibility even though you said the a/c "appears" to be ok.
