My wife and I placed an order for our new F-250 on February 16, 2021. After a few weeks we were contacted by the dealer and told Ford was no longer accepting orders for 2021 model year. We were fine with ordering the build out as a 2022 model. The time frame we were given is typically 8 to 12 weeks for the vehicles to be built and delivered (this was in March 2021). I contacted the sales rep monthly to check the status of the vehicle. In April he let us know that Ford was experiencing some supply chain issues, I understand, everyone on the planet was having the same issues. It was August 2021 when we were told Ford picked up the order from the dealership. As of today, January 18, 2022 our truck has still not been scheduled for production. Spoke with Ford, they said I had to contact the dealership. Dealership says I have to contact Ford. It is getting a little frustrating at this point.

 

If Ford picked up the order you should have gotten a confirmation email from Ford. You dealer should also have an order number on a build sheet from Ford with a priority code. Get that and then try calling Ford again.
