Default '82 F250 Wheel/Tire Question

I have a 82 F250 2wd, 6.6 V8, I am looking into putting a newer set of wheels on my truck, I bought a set off of a 99 (GMC), at a great price only to find out that the full floater rear end on my Ford is about 1/8 inch larger than the GMC, I know, I know, the posts will come"WHY GMC ON A FORD", Did I mention I got them at a great price. So here I am asking for your help, What year of Ford rim will fit on my truck, I know the bolt pattern is 8 by 6.5, I have heard '99 and newer Fordrimswent to a different size than pre '99, Do I look for pre '99 Ford for an exact fit? I learned my lesson with Chev/GMC the hard way. Thanks for any info you can give me!!!!
P.S My truck sets stock heighth for 1982 2WD.
