Default 97 F-250 Load Question

I have the 97 F-250 (LD). I just bought tires and was wondering if the load limit on the tire are suttible for the truck. I got Bridgestone Dueller APT IV P265 R75 16. Should I have bought Light Truck Tire (LT265 Blah blah). The Bridgestone website says that the tire I bought have a load rating "E" which I believe is a higher side wall value than standard. The max load on the tire says 2601 lbs. That makes the rear max weight of 5200 lbs. for the tires. My GAWR is 4300 lbs. So, is it safe to say that if I don't overload my axle the weight limit of the tire should be fine? Also I was wondering what the rear axle weight of my truck would be empty? If I were to take the GAWR - The empty Rear axle weight would this give me my load capacity? This really stems from the sticker on the inside of the door. It says I should have LT235 R75 16 D. I don't have the "LT" I have the "P" but they are rated at "E".

If you can make any sence of this rant please help.
